Black History Month & Heritage Tours
Is it just us, or does it seem like mainstream ad agencies only portray Black people traveling during Black History Month, to see a plantation or for family reunions?
Are we not capable of getting in our cars for weekend jaunts to check out a local wine trail, bed & breakfasts or country inns?
Black travelers also enjoy music, hiking, boating and spas. Our staff members look forward to getting their R.E.I. updates and reward points, just like the next person. We don’t just travel to warm, tropical locations. We also enjoy winter sports and cuddling by a warm fireplace. Ever heard of the National Brotherhood of Skiers?
We’re just saying…Give us some credit.

Great Things Happening
Hey You!
It’s been some time since we’ve posted anything. We’ve been busy working on some great things. After a few months of testing different platforms, we have decided on one that is going to best serve our visitors providing a more interactive experience.
Until then, we ask that you hang in there for a couple more days. By Friday (maybe sooner) we’ll be announcing our new endeavor!
As for today we’re headed to the US Open. Peek in on us throughout the afternoon @haveAwonderful over at Twitter to find out what’s going on.
Make a go of it (Philly)

Okay, so it’s late and I’m tired but I have to make a deadline. No quicker way than a tidy list.
Challenge: Philly from sun up to sun down
Results:
- Ate at Ishkabibbles
- Took a quick tour around downtown
- Snapped some photos and later uploaded to Flickr
- Did some shopping on South Street and purchased wear at Retrospect
- Checked out Sounds of R&B at Penn’s Landing, to listen to Ledisi and Lalah Hathaway live and free while enjoying a cool breeze
- Took pleasure in a great view, vibes and vittles at Warmdaddy’s
- Called it a night
That’s a tough day to beat!
(Details: Including gas, food, drinks and shopping, this trip was less than $100)
I’m talking bout the man in the mirror - Oh Yeah!
What’s wrong with this picture?
Hint: It’s not the sink being low.
We stayed at a hotel in Bisbee that was suppose to be haunted. We waited for ghost all night and nothing.
Almost a year later we went back and looked at this pic and realized that the reflection in the mirror is…
What do you think?
