A fan of Hakim’s sent me an email and asked us to post this interview again. Given what’s going on in politics and media, he thought we should revisit.
It’s a long interview but it’s a great because we just hung out and talked. Like old friends enjoying good food, music, wine and conversation we just flowed.
Since this is an old show, the contact information I give at the end of the show no longer works. So I’ll apologize now for any confusion.
I know I’m not suppose to have favorites, but one of my favorite interviews of all time was with a fella name Gemineye. He was in Phoenix judging for a poetry slam and I was fortunate enough to get an interview. Not only do I love this show because I love Gemineye but because I got the chance to be the 3rd wheel on this one.
The interview was conducted by Issim (learn more about him soon) while I was left with the editing. So what you get is (what I think is pretty darn good production) a person to person interview mixed with a live performance clips of Gemineye.
To find out a bit more about Gemineye you can check out his Bio and MySpace.
I love, love, love the beach. The laziness, the sand, the people. I love it all.
Well maybe not all of it. I hate the prep. Not the packing food, music, games, etc prep, but the personal prep. Specifically the grooming, aka “yardwork” prep. It sucks! Not just a little suck but sucks a lot - Especially for someone who is a fanatic.
Today I said enough is enough and called a Dr. Gold and asked if we could meet. He’s game, so we set up an appointment for next week.
Maybe my days of sticky wax and razors will be gone (or at least minimized). Well, we will find out soon enough, so be sure to stop by next Friday to see what the good Doc has for us.
Question: Have you ever tried Laser Hair Removal? If so, how did it go for you, any suggestions, who did you use?
With summer fully underway, many of us are beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed. Without having the luxury of dropping everything and jetting off to a private island, we need to find a way to get back on track and back in the game.
Knowing that we’re all getting our physical exercise (like good little boys and girls), I just want to give you a friendly reminder that we need to also keep our mind in check and our creative juices flowing. One great (and affordable) way is to try Kundalini Yoga. Briefly, Kundalini is…
The science of Kundalini Yoga provides us with a vehicle that gives us practical tools to help cope with the escalating change in our environment. Kundalini Yoga incorporates a working understanding of the inner science of the mind, body and spirit that will enable you to experience your true Self. A soul filled with unconditional Love, Joy, and peace. [excerpt; www.shaktiyogi.com]
